Poly ID Cards

Our Poly ID cards are printed on a high-strength polyester substrate that delivers excellent durability and everyday performance:

• No lamination required — printed cards come finished and ready for use without added lamination.
• Thinner & lighter — approximately 14–15 mil, making them easy to carry while still rugged in use.
• Washable & low maintenance — can be cleaned with soap and water if they get dirty.
• Optimized for digital presses — avoids common toner boiling issues seen with heavy, dark coverage on laminated cards.
• Exceptional durability — outperform laminated Teslin in independent testing for static weight, dynamic snap pull, and abrasion resistance.

Laminated Teslin ID Cards

Teslin cards are built using Teslin® synthetic paper laminated on both sides to create a durable, card-like product with a standard thickness (approximately 30 mil):

• Proven synthetic substrate — Teslin is a waterproof, tear-resistant, polyolefin-based synthetic paper widely used for durable printed goods. It combines the printable look of paper with the toughness of plastic.
• High-quality, vibrant prints — inks and toners absorb into the microporous substrate, producing rich, fade-resistant imagery that protects critical data and photos.
• Strong lamination bond — laminate mechanically locks into Teslin’s structure, creating a highly robust encapsulation that protects print and any embedded security elements.
• Standard card feel & rigidity — thick laminated construction gives Teslin cards the look and sturdiness of traditional PVC ID cards.
