Jeff Edwards

Owner: Scholastic Reflections and Jeff Edwards Studio in Milwaukee, WI

Jeff has 35 years of experience in school and senior portrait markets. He currently operates a full service portrait studio and has experienced tremendous growth in the school markets through his Scholastic Reflections division of his business. He has worked for a national school portrait company as the director of sales as well as consulted for other companies that where in the school photography markets on a national level. In addition to two volume senior portrait studios his business operated it's own color lab which gives Jeff a unique perspective on school and senior portraits in today's digital environment.

Jeff has made presentations at numerous conventions including:

  • The Professional School Photographers Association
  • Wedding & Portrait Photographers International
  • School Photographers Association of California
  • Various educational and training events

Jeff presentations are full of real life usable information and his programs are always highly rated.


Jeff Locklear

Jeff Locklear, M. Photog., CR., CPP

Jeff Locklear has been involved with some aspect of the photographic industry since 1976, starting as a staff photographer for Photo Services with Central Missouri State University. Taking a detour from his beginnings, Jeff served as plant manager for a commercial color lab in the Kansas City area for 4 years. During this time he obtained invaluable information in processing and printing.

In 1984 he left the color lab and opened a portrait studio, specializing in wedding photography. Since joining the PPA in 1989, Jeff has received numerous local and state awards for his portrait and wedding photography. Jeff has also been in the Kansas Top Ten Photographers ten years in a row. In 1994 he won first place in the prestigious Brides Choice wedding album competition.

"Teaching photography has always been a passion of mine. With the growth of digital technology in professional photography it has populated our industry with a new enthusiasm and a large crop of new photographers in need of instruction at all levels. I've been given the opportunity through my lab, H&H Color Lab and H&H University to teach film based photographers how to make the transition into digital using all the resources the lab has to offer and keeping a strong foundation in the fundamentals of photography."

Jeff has been a full time employee of H&H Color Lab since June of 2005 as a technical customer support specialist.

"My area of expertise is my 20 years of studio ownership. The fact that I'm still a working photographer lends credibility to the help and advice I can give to our customers at H&H."
